2 RESEARCH ASSISTANTS
Overview of the research
Gawad Kalinga-Ateneo is engaged in a 2-3 year research project that seeks to identify a model for building sustainable and empowered communities for poverty eradication. The research will identify the necessary conditions and interventions for the sustained development and growth families residing in GK communities to ensure their exit from poverty. The research will produce publications on mainstream development literature (online, print) and implementation manuals for application of findings. The project is a collaborative research participated in by the various school partners of GK in the Philippines and abroad.
Job Description
• Data collection and analysis
• Preparation of status reports, briefs, primers, and other publications
• Overall coordination of research activities of field researchers, research fellows, and consultants
Requirements
• Undergraduate degree and/or extensive experience in social sciences, development studies, or other related fields
• Skills in qualitative and quantitative research
• Previous research experience
• Self-motivated and driven
• Must be willing to work with a team of volunteers
