This forum will present the actions taken by the state to regulate and prevent certain family clans to control power and resources. Moreover, it will be a venue to present what citizens and civil society organizations can do to support alternative leaders for the 2013 elections.
The Elections Under Repair Discussion Series was launched in 2010 in an effort to revive and mainstream the discussion of political development and electoral reform issues. It is a project of the Political Democracy and Reform (PODER) Program of the Ateneo School of Government (ASoG). This year’s discussion series is supported by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.
