CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: PROJECT ASSOCIATE

Program: JVO Executive Education Program
Location: SDC Complex, Ateneo de Manila University, Katipunan Ave. Quezon City

The Executive Education Program (ExecEd) is a unit under the Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) which offers short, focused and customized training programs to local and national government agencies, civil society groups, private organizations and donor-institutions to concretize strategies for sustainable development.

The ExecEd Program is currently on the lookout for qualified candidates for PROJECT ASSOCIATE, who will:

I. Provide technical assistance to the ExecEd Director in writing of manuals, case studies, reports etc.

a. Undertake research work related to the development of the trainers guide, and facilitators guide for the module development;
b. Translate research work into training cases relevant  to the modules on local economic development;
c. Assist in the implementation of various projects and programs of the ExecEd.

II. Assist the ExecEd Director in the implementation of ExecEd Trainings.

a. Involved in the pre-design and implementation of specific activities of the ExecEd;
b. Perform research-related work in training such as preparation of training needs assessment and other special research activities;
c. Facilitate the conduct of activities such as seminars, workshops, and forums;
d. Spearhead pre-training preparation such as logistics, documentations, etc;
e. Spearhead post-training documentation and liquidations.

III. Participate in the development of proposals for various types of projects which the School participates in through bidding, commissioned projects, etc.

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for the abovementioned position are:

1. College degree (in social sciences, management and other related courses);
2. At least one (1) year experience in development-oriented work in government, academe, and/or NGOs is an advantage, but fresh graduates with substantial leadership experience are welcome to apply;
3. Good analytical and organization skills;
4. Willing to travel independently to different parts of the country;
5. Good oral and written communication skills;
6. Experiences in training facilitation and proposal development will be an advantage.
