Young Innovators Competition Challenge 4

Deadline: 03 November 2014

The ITU Telecom World Young Innovators Competition launched the 4th and last challenge of this year. This challenge is in partnership with the IEEE IoT Initiative and is looking for the best ideas for new businesses and innovations on how the Internet of Things can be used for social good. Since this is a co-creation challenge, they are looking for any useful thoughts or information which might help as a community to develop the concept for a new startup. Ideas accepted until November 03, 2014.

The competition is open to 18-30 year-old young people from across ITU’s 193 member states. The winners are invited to the upcoming ITU Telecom World 2014 in Doha in December this year where they can showcase their innovative ideas and will enjoy mentoring and workshops on entrepreneurial skills. Prize money of up to USD 5,000 in the form of seed funding will be awarded to implement and bring to scale winning start-ups.
