VOLUNTEERS FOR TYPHOON PABLO
We all know what happened to our fellow Filipinos in Mindanao due to Typhoon Pablo wherein many of them have lost so much that they will be having a sad and gloomy Christmas Season. While many of us cannot really physically go there to help in the relief and rehabilitation efforts, we can help our kababayans in Mindanao in our own small way here in Metro Manila. Here’s how:
The Physicians for Peace and the Kaya Natin! Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership is currently looking for volunteers who can help sort medical equipment and supplies for more than 170 impoverished baranggays in Mindanao. These medical equipments and supplies will go a long way in helping ensure that many of our fellow Filipinos will be able to access quality healthcare especially in times of disasters and calamities.
The sorting of these medical equipment and supplies will be held this coming December 22, Saturday from 9am to 5pm at the Physicians for Peace Warehouse, 8 Judge Juan Luna st., San Francisco Del Monte, Quezon City. For those who would like to spare a few hours to volunteer, please get in touch with Nash Cordero at nash.cordero@gmail.com or you can also call us at (02) 990-3282.
On behalf of our kababayans in Mindanao, we would like to thank you in advance for responding to this call to public service.
